About Colorado Vaccine Access Fund

Rose Community Foundation launched the Colorado Vaccine Access Fund in September 2025 to preserve and expand access to illness-preventing immunizations across our state. With federal shifts limiting individual choice and access, this Fund and your donations will support solutions that protect every Coloradan’s ability to choose and receive the vaccines they need—when they want them.

In collaboration with Colorado Chooses Vaccines—a new expert-led coalition promoting immunization access—and with the support of physicians, public health leaders, healthcare providers, businesses, funders and families, the Colorado Vaccine Access Fund will support solutions and policies that safeguard public health while empowering Colorado health care consumers.

Why this matters now

In Partnership with Colorado Chooses Vaccines

Why this matters now

Broad vaccine access keeps families healthy, strengthens our workforce, and protects vulnerable neighbors—from newborns to older adults. When people can choose timely immunizations, our health network is stronger, our businesses are more resilient, and our communities can thrive.

A call-to-action from Colorado Chooses Vaccines: “We're going to rely on Colorado ingenuity and determination to rally together and rise to this challenge quickly and decisively, preventing the unnecessary human and financial cost of vaccine-preventable disease. We can't afford to stay on the sidelines. As we enter the winter season, we invite you to join our movement to support your loved ones as well as all of our state's most vulnerable, from babies to seniors.”

Rose Community Foundation committed its support for the ongoing work of the Colorado Chooses Vaccines coalition by launching and seeding the Colorado Vaccine Access Fund with $100,000. We invite you to also lend your support to fuel this important work. Together, we can protect ourselves and loved ones and preserve access for generations to come.
